Hey Reader,

Okay, so I am currently writing the ASL newsletter in the sunshine. I’m in Turkey, feeling so relaxed as I write this. I’ve just had a lovely breakfast and a nice cold glass of water. I’m sitting in the sun, watching the palm trees sway. It feels like the perfect time to update you on what’s been going on in the business and in life, and to share some good news with you.

First of all, welcome to a new month. It’s August! I can’t believe we’re more than halfway through the year already, but I feel blessed to have made it to this point. It’s exciting to be in a new month with new opportunities. For me, it’s a time to reflect on how things have gone so far and to look forward to new blessings. I’m grateful and hopeful for open opportunities.

How has the month of August been going for you? By the time you receive this, it might be the second week of August. Hopefully, I can send it before then. I’ve chosen to turn off my internet, so I can’t send this newsletter until I return to the UK. Giving myself a deliberate break has been great, as I’m not always good at doing that. Coming to a remote place and deciding to disconnect has been wonderful. So, you’ll receive this when I get back to the UK.♡

BEHIND THE SCENES OF THE BUSINESS

On a personal front, things have been good. There have been a couple of changes. You may have noticed that almost two hundred podcast episodes are no longer available. I’ve also paused the membership content. But new episodes are coming, including interviews with fellow Christian women on various topics. If you’re interested, follow the podcast for more updates. ♡

SPIRITUAL ADVICE

Spiritual advice for this month: understand that the Lord can help you through all situations. Let go of the need to control everything, as the Lord ultimately has control.

EXCITING PROJECT DEVELOPMENTS

Below, you’ll find recent blog posts and podcast episodes. I haven’t released many podcasts in the last two months because I took a break and have been interviewing guests. Once I catch up with the backlog, you’ll see more content.♡

CURRENT FAVOURITES

BOOKS:

Things I’ve been loving this month: two books, The Power of a Praying Woman by Stormie Omartian and Battlefield of the Mind by Joyce Meyer. Both have been incredibly helpful and inspiring. For health, I’ve been ensuring I get at least 10,000 steps a day, thanks to my Fitbit Luxe, which seamlessly fits into my lifestyle. I’ll leave an affiliate link below. ♡

Apart from this, there have been significant changes over the last two months. I was headhunted for a corporate beautiful marketing role, which is fully flexible. This opportunity has been a blessing financially and has allowed me to experiment with different marketing initiatives. Staying open and praying has kept me in good spirits, leading to more opportunities.

Joining one Bible study a month and doing a weekly devotion has also been enriching. The Bible study is with `Mariam, who hosts The Purpose of Becoming Podcast, and the weekly devotions are with a few fellow sisters in Christ. These studies and support from my Christian sisters have been invaluable.

Financially, despite closing some business ventures and issuing refunds, other areas like the Serenity Bundle have been doing well. Also, this company that I am supporting with marketing is lovely! - I forgot how much I love marketing, when it is intentional it is such a beautiful thing! This flexibility has allowed for more holidays and investments.

Taking the risk to change things has paid off. I’m now enjoying a life of peace and freedom, working wherever I want. Putting the lord first and spending so MUCH time with my family! I hope the ASL sisterhood, this newsletter, the podcast, and the products I offer will help you find peace and always lean on the Lord.

I’ll love you and leave you now. They’re playing lovely tunes outside, and I can’t wait to join in. Bye!

THIS MONTHS SCRIPTURE:

'See the world through the eyes of God.'

Remember that God never promised us a perfect life, but He assured us of peace throughout our trials. That's something crucial to keep in mind. And along with that, it's important to remember that peace can be found even in the midst of chaos. This is the intention we should carry throughout the month.

I believe holding onto this intention will greatly benefit us in the coming weeks. There are moments when life feels overwhelmingly difficult when it seems like everything is against us. But in those times, it's essential to recall the simple truth: peace is always attainable. Even if our current situation is far from peaceful, even if stress surrounds us, there's still a pathway to peace.

I'm not suggesting that everything will suddenly become perfect overnight. But amongst the turmoil, we can always find moments of peace. If you're struggling to find it, perhaps turning to your faith could help. Spend time reading your Bible, and find peace in prayer, journaling and stream of conscious times. Remember, you don't have to have all the answers. Trust in your god and peace will follow.

Thank you so much for inviting me into your inbox. I truly appreciate your willingness to take a moment with my message, especially amidst the sea of emails flooding your inbox, likely filled with tempting discount offers and the constant struggle of forgetting to unsubscribe.

In any case, I wanted to share that my writing is here for you, free from intrusive ads or the whims of algorithms. There's no need to surrender your email for a mere 15% off, only to be bombarded with endless spam. May this month be filled with many blessings. ♡
